Congrats to our Q-Collar teammate Trevor Harris on signing an extension with the Edmonton Eskimos of the CFL this past weekend.
Trevor had an incredible 2019 season, his first with the Eskimos. Harris put up 4,027 passing yards and 16 touchdowns in only 13 games, and led the Eskimos to the second round of the playoffs after a phenomenal first round game against Montreal. In that game, Harris nearly broke the record for most consecutive completions in a game, connecting on 22 straight passes before ultimately coming up just short of the record of 23. He finished the game completing 36 of 39 passes for over 400 yards and a touchdown. His effort was more than enough to beat Montreal on the road, before losing a tough battle to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the East final.
Harris will look to build on this past season’s success, and is excited to be back in Edmonton until 2022.
“I’m grateful to be in Edmonton for the long haul. I have a deep conviction that we have something special building here and I wanted to show it through this contract, and I am thrilled to be part of it.” (http://bit.ly/Harris-extension)
Trevor joined the Q-Collar team this past season, and is helping lead the charge on the field to encourage others to play smart and play safe. He is committed to protecting the game of football and helping to make the game safer for all athletes.
We’re looking forward to seeing Trevor back in the green and gold next season!
