Q-Collar Week in Review (3.18.24) - Q30

This week was yet another week loaded with high-impact performances from athletes wearing the Q-Collar. Check out some of their highlights below.

NCAA Men’s Lacrosse:

  • University of North Carolina Attackman Owen Duffy logged 9 total goals and 6 total assists across the Tar Heels’ two games this week, a pair of victories over Wagner College and Stony Brook University.
  • Duke University Attackman Brennan O’Neill scored 5 total goals, including these four (#1, #2, #3, #4) dazzling finishes, and recorded 5 total assists across the Blue Devils two games this week, a pair of wins over Providence College and the University of Richmond.
  • Notre Dame Attackman Pat Kavanagh scored 2 goals and tallied 3 assists, including this behind-the-back feed, in the Fighting Irish’s 19-9 victory over the University of Michigan.
  • University of Utah Attackman Ryan Stines scored 5 goals, including the game-winner with 2.8 seconds left, in the Utes’ 14-13 win over Bellarmine University.
  • University of Albany Attackman Silas Richmond netted 4 goals, including this behind-the-back finish, in the Great Danes’ 19-8 win UMASS-Lowell. Richmond’s teammate, Midfielder Chris Crapanzano, logged an assist in the win.
  • Princeton University Attackman Nate Kibiri scored one goal and logged one assist in the Tigers’ 15-14 loss to Cornell University.
  • UPENN Midfielder James Shipley logged 1 assist in the Quakers’ 11-6 victory over Brown University.

NCAA Women’s Lacrosse:

  • University of Florida Goalkeeper Georgia Hoey made 10 total saves in the Gators’ two games this week, a pair of victories over Princeton University and Mercer University.
  • University of Maryland Goalkeeper Emily Sterling made 6 saves in the Terps’ 12-6 win over The Ohio State University. Sterling’s teammate, Midfielder Shaylan Ahearn, scored a goal and logged 2 draw controls in the win.
  • Kent State University Midfielder Emily Bond scored 3 total goals and logged 1 total assist across the Golden Flashes’ two games this week, a pair of victories over Saint Francis University (PA) and Youngstown State University.
  • Syracuse University Defender Katie Goodale logged 5 draw controls and caused 1 turnover in the Orange’s 2-5 win over the University of North Carolina.

MLS Soccer:

  • San Jose Earthquakes Striker Jeremy Ebobisse started and contributed to the Earthquakes’ offensive efforts in their 2-1 loss to Sporting Kansas City.

NWSL Soccer:

  • Bay FC Defender Emily Menges started and played all 90 mins of their 1-0 victory over Angel City FC.

NCAA Women’s Basketball:

  • San Diego State University Guard Abby Prohaska scored 36 total points, including this jumper, and logged 22 total rebounds across the Aztec’s four Mountain West Conference Tournament games, going 3-1 with wins over San Jose State University, University of New Mexico, Boise State University and a loss to UNLV.

NCAA Ice Hockey:

  • UMASS-Amherst Defenseman Elliott McDermott and Forward Lucas Vanroboys recorded 1 blocked shot apiece in the Minutemen’s 3-1 victory over Providence College in the Hockey East Tournament Quarterfinals.
