Q-Collar Week in Review (2/19/24) - Q30

This week was yet another week loaded with exciting performances from athletes wearing the Q-Collar. Check out some of their highlights below.

Premier Lacrosse League:

  • Cannons Attackman Marcus Holman scored 10 total 1-point goals, 6 total 2-point goals, and logged 3 assists across the Cannons’ 4 games this weekend at the 2024 PLL Championship Series.
  • Redwoods Attackman Rob Pannell scored 9 total 1-point goals including this finish off a spin move, 2 total 2-point goals including this snipe from deep, and notched 8 assists across the Redwoods four 2024 PLL Championship Series games this weekend. Pannell’s teammate, Attackman Jules Heningburg, scored 8 total 1-point goals, including this one-timer, and recorded 2 total assists. Midfielder Nakeie Montgomery netted 7 total 1-point goals, including this finish on the doorstep and logged 2 total assists.
  • Waterdogs Attackman Michael Sowers scored 9 total 1-point goals, including this long-range snipe and this bottom-corner finish, 2 2-point goals including this conversion from beyond the arc, and recorded 11 total assists across the Waterdogs’ four 2024 PLL Championship Series games this weekend.

Unleashed Women’s Lacrosse All-Star Game:

NCAA Men’s Lacrosse:

  • Duke University Attackman Brennan O’Neill scored 6 goals, including this behind-the-back finish, in the Blue Devils’ 19-10 victory over St. Joseph’s University.
  • Princeton University Attackman Colin Burns scored 4 goals, including this mid-air snipe, and recorded 3 assists in the Tigers’ 15-5 win over Monmouth University.
  • University of North Carolina Attackman Owen Duffy netted a hat-trick and recorded 4 assists in the Tar Heels’ 19-8 win over Fairfield University.
  • Notre Dame Attackman Pat Kavanagh scored 2 total goals (#1,#2) and recorded 5 total assists across the Fighting Irish’s two games, a pair of victories over Cleveland State University and Marquette University.
  • University of Albany Attackman Silas Richmond scored 4 goals, including this bottom-corner snipe, in the Great Danes’ 11-10 loss to Colgate University. Richmond’s teammate, Midfielder Chris Crapanzano, scored a goal and logged an assist in the loss.
  • University of Pennsylvania Defenseman Tyler Kuehl recovered 2 ground balls in the Quakers’ 12-9 loss to Georgetown University.

NCAA Women’s Lacrosse:

  • University of Maryland Midfielder Shaylan Ahearn logged 4 draw controls in the Terps’ 9-8 victory over Syracuse University. Ahearn’s teammate, Goalkeeper Emily Sterling, made 9 saves, including this stop on the doorstep, in the win.
  • On the opposition, Syracuse University Defender Katie Goodale recovered 5 ground balls and caused 3 turnovers in the loss.

NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey:

  • UMASS-Amherst Defenseman Elliott McDermott recorded 2 shots-on-goal across the Minutemen’s two games, a pair of losses to Boston College.
